Women Empowerment: Isang Kritikal na Diskursong Pagsusuri sa mga Awitin ng Grupong Bini

Abstract

Ang layunin ng pananaliksik na ito ay siyasatin ang malalim na pang-unawa sa konsepto ng women empowerment mula sa mga awitin ng grupong bini. Gamit ang pagsusuring pangnilalaman na nakatuon sa isang palarawang kwalitatibong pananaliksik, ang pag-aaral ay binalangkas mula sa Critical Discourse Analysis ni Van Dijk (2000) upang masuri ang mga mahahalagang datos. Gumamit din ng mga konsepto mula sa pag-aaral nina Miles at Huberman (2007) upang masuri ang liriko na may kinalaman sa feminismong dulog at women empowerment. Sa resulta ng pagsusuri, lumalabas na ang mga awitin ay may mga tema at mensahe na nagpapakita ng kahalagahan ng self-discovery, pagmamahal, at self-acceptance sa pagpapalakas ng kababaihan batay sa apekto ng macrostructure. Sa superstructure, ipinakita ng mga awitin ang iskema ng pag-uugnay ng kahulugan sa bawat bahagi ng awitin, habang sa microstructure, lumalabas ang kahulugan ng mga leksikal at kontekstuwal na elementong ginamit sa mga awitin. Sa kabuuan, ang mga natuklasan ay nagpapahiwatig ng potensyal na paggamit ng musika bilang isang paraan ng pagpapalakas sa kababaihan at pagpapalawak sa kamalayan sa mga isyu na may kinalaman sa gender equality. Napatunayan ng pag-aaral na ang mga awitin ay naglalaman ng mahahalagang balyu na tumutugon sa mga pangaunahing isyung panlipunan, tulad ng women empowerment
