CURRENT
Volume 03 Issue 02 (May 2025) presents a rich compilation of interdisciplinary research that highlights current trends, challenges, and innovations in education, linguistics, technology, culture, and community development. The issue features studies on local industries such as tinapa production in Cavite, and supply chain models for local food businesses. Educational themes are central, with articles examining student interest in career exploration, second language acquisition, and the effectiveness of instructional tools like interactive self-learning materials, educational videos, and AI-generated content. Several studies explore language and communication, including analyses of Grice’s maxims in media, the impact of TXT slang, and code-mixing on English skills. Research on teacher competencies, environmental education, and administrative skills in technology integration reflects a commitment to professional development. Other papers delve into challenges in reading proficiency, virtual class glossaries, and classroom schedule shifts. Cultural perspectives are explored through the analysis of Ilonggo pop songs and Filipino short stories using multiperspectivity techniques. Additionally, studies investigate tribal women’s conditions in India, after-sales support in Boracay utilities, and students' experiences with translation and mathematics enhancement tools. A systematic review on AI in education concludes the volume, highlighting its applications and ethical concerns. Overall, this issue provides a valuable cross-section of contemporary academic inquiry across Southeast Asia and beyond.
